In Corolla, we have large protective dunes that separate the beach from the homes. Unlike many towns and cities, Corolla does not have “public beach access” with parking lots for non-locals. The beach access paths are for owners and guests of the homes in each community.

Our home is about a driveway or so away from the nearest beach access point on the Tern Arch cul-de-sac in Ocean Sands Section H. There is a long wooden crossover path, with stairs leading over the dunes and down to the beach.

Our home is fortunately SO close to the beach compared to other homes nearby, it’s so convenient! It’s perfect for anyone who loves the versatility of a beach day, pool day or a mix of both.

Both the Pool and Jacuzzi are located in a fenced and gated pool area just next to the driveway. The Jacuzzi is maintained and heated year-round. Our pool season varies each year, but we generally open the pool in April and close it for the season in October. We offer optional pool heat in the spring/fall and pool AC in summer. The pool is either heated or cooled down to 85 degrees F. Prices are below:

POOL HEAT: $350/week if booked ahead; $75/day for shorter length stays

*Heat is recommended April, May, June, September and October

POOL AC: $250/week if booked ahead *recommended in July and August

Please let us know if you would like to add optional pool heat or pool AC to your booking!

Driveway fits 5-6 cars

*No street or cul-de-sac parking allowed

• Please take care of our home like it’s yours

• No smoking or vaping inside the house

• Clean up after your pets

• Quiet hours 10PM-7AM

• No parties (please be respectful of our neighbors)

• Please turn off outdoor lights when not in use to minimize bugs

• Keep windows and doors shut to minimize bugs

• Put books, games, beach supplies and decor back in their spot

• Communicate any issues, broken or missing items ahead of checkout

Please use the first floor entry door/Eufy keypad to unlock when arriving & lock when departing.

Your unique keypad code will be given to you on your checkin day ahead of arrival to use the week of your stay.

Please do not ship packages to the house. Food, rentals or confirmed in-person deliveries are OK, but if you are shipping via Amazon, FedEx or UPS we cannot guarantee it will arrive to the door. USPS mail will also not deliver. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Many vacation essentials or items you may have forgotten at home can be found locally down south in Duck, Kitty Hawk, KDH and Nags Head.
